The SR Series Infrared Thermometer is a self contained
spot pyrometer which does not require remote electronics.
Temperature signal processing and conditioning are all done
within the sensing head of the unit. The SR Series of
infrared thermometers includes both SLR and fiber optics
sensors to best fit with your temperature sensing application.
- Stand Alone Ratio (Two Color) Infrared Thermometer
- Focusing SLR or Fiber Optic Versions
- Fast Response Time
- No Moving Parts Or Filter Wheels
- Both Detectors Read The Target Simultaneously
BASIC UNIT - SLR Version consists of self-contained
IR Thermometer, Signal/Power Supply Termination Box, 12 foot
or 4 meter Inter-connecting Cable, and one detailed
Operations Manual.
BASIC UNIT - Fiber Optic Version consists of Fiber
Optic IR Sensor, with Fiber Optic Cable and Focusable
Reimaging Lens Assembly (Focal range of 10" to infinity),
Wiring Terminal, 12 foot or 4 meter Interconnecting
Cable, and one detailed Operations Manual. Complete
descriptions and specifications for both versions
are shown in the Product Bulletin.
Covered by U.S. Patent Numbers 4,919,505 and
5,011,296.
SLR VERSION FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Completely self-contained two-color infrared thermometer
- Choice of nine models measuring temperatures
from 1300° to 6500°F (700° to 3500°C)
within discrete temperature ranges
- Focusable, thru-the-lens viewing
- Choice of optical resolution (D/50, D/100, D/150 Range Dependent)
- Choice of fast response time 0.01 seconds or
(0.1,1.0 or 10.0 seconds)
- Choice of output signal (4-20mA or 10 volts)
- No separate signal processing electronics required,
making this instrument cost effective
- E-slope adjustment on temperature sensor
- Invalid alarm indicator lamp and relay contact
closure
FIBER OPTIC FEATURES AND BENEFITS
The SR Fiber Optic Infrared Thermometer provides all features
of the SLR Version plus the following:
- Compact, stainless steel, focusable reimaging
lens assembly fits in tight places, withstands environments
to 400°F (200°C) without auxiliary cooling.
Two focusable ranges of 6" to 10" (150 - 250mm)
or 10" (250mm) to infinity are available
- Extension tip withstands ambient temperatures
to 575°F (300°C) for high temperature applications
- Various mounting accessories for reimaging lens
or extension tip assembly are available for easy
mounting
- Optional air purge simply screws to front of
reimaging lens to keep lens clean
- Flexible fiber optic cable assembly provides
optical link between sensing head and and reimaging
lens. Offers lengths of 3 feet to 10 feet as standard,
and up to 30 feet as special
- Choice of optical resolution D/30, D/60, or D/30
x D/150 is model selectable
