Features and Benefits
- Speed - Once power is applied to the glass backlite
defects can be identified within two seconds by the thermal
imaging camera. Much faster and more accurate then traditional
thermocouples and RTDs used for inspection.
- AOI's - AOI means Areas Of Interest. AOI's can be
drawn any place on the image. Line Checker AOI's look
for points of broken grid that are not generating
enough heat. Hot Spot AOI's look for thinned out portions
of the grid that might fail over time. By looking
for BOTH problems you can tune your production line
to reduce scrap and warranty replacements.
- Recipe loading - Do you run several different styles
of backlites on the same production line? With the
Ircon Backlite Software different batch files
can be loaded directly from a remote computer or even
a PLC. Once loaded your ready to go!
- I/O Modules - With optional analog and digital I/O
modules the Thermal Grid Inspection System becomes
an integral part of your production system. Alarms
can be sent to third party devices to create a zero
defect production line!
